Stadium: Cameron Indoor Stadium

If Round 2 of North Carolina vs. Duke is anything like Round 1, then, well, college basketball fans are in store for quite the rivalry treat.

Once again, and like usual, both teams enter this contest ranked in the top 25 — because some things just never change.

In terms of what is at stake in this mega-showdown, here ya go: If North Carolina wins, it will move one step closer to earning a No. 1 seed in the 2016 NCAA tournament, and it could also claim an ACC title. If Duke wins, it could move up to a No. 3 seed for the tourney, and it will also enter the ACC tournament with a ton of momentum. Pulling off the regular-season sweep of the Tar Heels tends to have that effect.

In the first meeting of the season, Duke pulled off the road victory by a single point.

No matter what happens in this clash, we do know this: Both squads are 100 percent safe when it comes to making the Big Dance (aka they are both locks for the dance). In the grand scheme of things, that is really all that matters. However, plenty of momentum can be won in the ACC tourney, a tourney that will feature some of the best matchups of the season since the tournament is stacked with some of the best squads in the country.

Nonetheless, get ready for yet another thriller, where overtime and beyond is a real possibility.

PREDICTION: Tar Heels 76, Blue Devils 80
