Wisconsin vs. Purdue College Basketball Preview, TV Schedule, Prediction

TV Schedule: Sunday, March 6, 7:30 p.m. ET, BTN

Stadium: Mackey Arena

The Purdue Boilermakers and Wisconsin Badgers will meet up for their last game of the regular season. Since both teams are locks to make the dance, this game can be considered a — you guessed it — bragging rights game.

Purdue enters this bragging rights contest on a two-game winning streak, and one of those victories came against the Maryland Terrapins. Wisconsin, who has been one of the hottest teams in the county as of late, has won four games in a row.

Here’s something for fans to remember for this matchup: The Badgers were 9-9 at one point, but are now 20-10. Call it a turnaround, if you will.

This Badgers team might not have a Frank Kaminsky or a Sam Dekker, but it still has a Nigel Hayes, and a ton of momentum.

The Boilermakers have a strong frontcourt going for them, and that frontcourt could lead them very far in not only their conference tourney, but the 2016 NCAA tournament as well.

These two teams met way back in December, and in that December matchup, Purdue took the road win.

Although Wisconsin is red-hot (and then some), the Boilermakers are always a tough out for opposing teams when playing at home. They have a 16-1 home record in 2015-16, after all.

The Badgers might continue their winning-streak ways in the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments, but said winning-streak ways are going to be put on hold for a game.

PREDICTION: Badgers 65, Boilermakers 69
