10. There Will Be A Handful Of At-Large Mid-Major Selections

Historically, it's been difficult for mid-majors to make the NCAA tournament without winning their respective conference tournaments. This season, however, there will be up to 10 mid-majors that will make the tournament as at-large selections.

9. Joe Lunardi Will Be Close To Perfect On His Projections

The major sports networks hire experts to predict and project what will happen in their respective sports. For my money, Lunardi is the best of any of them at what he does, as he's close to perfect every year on not only predicting which teams will make the tournament, but where they will be seeded.

8. Michigan State Will Get A No. 1 Seed

The Spartans are the best team in the country when Denzel Valentine is healthy. He missed a few weeks earlier in the season which caused them to hit a little slide, but assuming they don't get upset in the quarters of the Big 10 tournament, Tom Izzo's club will end up with a No. 1 seed.

7. Charles Barkley Will Rejoin CBS For College Basketball Coverage

Charles Barkley is more than qualified to cover the NBA, as he was a dominant player in the league and has been around it for three decades. Unfortunately, CBS has decided to use him for tournament coverage over the last handful of seasons, and it never ceases to amaze everyone how clueless he is about the subject.

6. One Of The Four Regions Will Be Stacked

Every Selection Sunday there is one region that stands out among the rest. One of the No. 1 seeds will get slighted by the committee and end up in a region with tough two through four seeds. Don't expect this year to be any different.

5. DFS Will See An Influx Of Money On College Basketball

College basketball hasn't caught on as much as NBA, MLB and NFL in the DFS community, but expect the tournament to be a popular play. It's a lot easier for players when they know the 68 teams they'll be choosing from and can do their research prior to the tournament.

4. Millions Of Brackets Will Be Filled Out

With Selection Sunday comes the NCAA tournament bracket pools that everyone loves to fill out so much. Unfortunately, Susie from accounting will likely win your office pool by picking the team with the prettiest colors.

3. Experts Will Make Wrong Selections

One of the yearly traditions for Selection Sunday is for college basketball experts to get on TV and make their predictions for each game as the bracket comes out. Going off of history, everyone will be wrong despite their expert status.

2. Kansas Will Earn A No. 1 Seed

The Jayhawks have been the best team in the country for the last month and it will earn them a No. 1 seed even if they lose in tonight's Big 12 semis to Baylor or in the championship tomorrow night.

It doesn't matter how hard the selection committee tries, they can never satisfy everyone. This year won't be any different as there will be some feelings hurt on Sunday night.
