West Coast Conference Basketball: 5 Incoming Freshmen to Watch in 2016-17

Every year the West Coast Conference seems to get better. This will be the case once again in 2016-17, as several top recruits make their way into the conference. Here are five incoming WCC freshmen to keep an eye on heading into the 2016-17 season.

Ford is talented, but lacks the weight to compete with the top point guards in the nation. A year or two with the Gaels, and he could be one of the best players in the WCC.

The Dons tend to be consistently out of the hunt for the WCC title, meaning that Ratinho should see solid playing time as a freshman.

Although it will likely be next year before he gets an opportunity to break into the starting five game in and game out, Norvell should be one of the first players off the bench and one of the best shooters on the court.

The Cougars seem to counter their constant defensive woes with great offense, and Childs is a perfect fit for this explosive BYU offense.

The highest rated recruit coming to the WCC, Collins was recruited out of Las Vegas and should be a top center in college basketball for years to come.
