President Donald Trump Tells ESPN He Won't Continue Barack Obama's March Madness Tradition

By RantSports Staff

According to the Washington Post, President Donald Trump recently declined ESPN‘s offer to continue Barack Obama‘s annual March Madness tradition of filling out an NCAA Tournament bracket on live television.

The network reached out to Trump’s staff and invited the president to fill out a bracket on-camera, just as President Barack Obama had the past several years. The network recently received word that Trump has passed. An ESPN spokesman said in a statement: “We expressed our interest to the White House in continuing the presidential bracket. They have respectfully declined.”

President Trump is an avid golfer, and has been seen at countless New York Mets games throughout the years. Thus, this can’t be about him not enjoying sports.

More likely than not, he simply doesn’t want to continue something his predecessor started for political reasons.
