UNC's Roy Williams Says Donald Trump 'Tweets Out More More Bullsh— Than I've Ever Seen'

The North Carolina Tar Heels destroyed the Miami Hurricanes by a score of 78-53 on Thursday in the 2017 ACC Tournament. But instead of the media pundits talking about how well the team played, the biggest news out of Brooklyn was head coach Roy Williams’ comments about President Donald Trump and his tweeting.

A reporter asked Williams whether he felt like the ACC Tournament should stay in a small town like Greensboro, NC or whether it should be held in a big market like Brooklyn, NY when he completely went off topic.

“Now everybody’s got social media, and we don’t need ‘The New York Times’ to find out what in the dickens is going on in the country,” Williams said. “You know, our president tweets out more bulls— than anybody I’ve ever seen. We’ve got social media.

“In the old days, there’s no question (New York) was the media capital of the world, but I’m not sure it is right now. Media capital of the world is sitting right there, right there, right there.”

Roy Williams joins the likes of Steve Kerr and Gregg Popovich in bashing the actions of the new president.
