LaVar Ball Says UCLA-bound Sons Worthy of $1 Billion Shoe Deal

By Anthony Blake

With LaVar Ball‘s son, Lonzo Ball, already destroying kids at UCLA, his two other boys, LiAngelo Ball and LaMelo Ball, are set to follow in those footsteps with the Bruins.

And as a result, their father is pushing for a $1 billion shoe deal on behalf of the trio, making them a potentially attractive package deal from a marketing perspective.

“A billion dollars, it has to be there,” Ball told USA Today. “That’s our number, a billion, straight out of the gate. And you don’t even have to give it to me all up front. Give us $100 mil over 10 years.”

Ambitious, sure, but not many other agents/parents have a three for the price of one possibility at their disposal.

Just check out the two younger brothers in high school action.

And if Lonzo’s freshman season in Westwood is any indication of how this triumvirate will fare in college and throughout their NBA careers, the Ball family is going to make good on that potential $1 billion investment.
