During the second half of the New Orleans Privateers‘ ‘First Four’ NCAA Tournament showdown with Mount Saint Mary’s, Travin Thibodeaux and Christavious Gil got into a heated argument after a miscommunication on the court.
Sadly, the schism continued during a timeout, and it appears Thibodeaux briefly choked Gil before the two were separated.
Here’s the altercation in slow motion.
New Orleans went on to lose a nailbiter to Mount Saint Mary’s by the score of 67-66.
The Mountaineers earned the right to face the No. 1 overall seed and defending national champion Villanova Wildcats.
