Seton Hall Topped By Arkansas Thanks to Controversial Flagrant Foul Call

By Anthony Blake

A great game between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Seton Hall Pirates was sufficiently marred by the officiating on Day 2 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

Arkansas held a 72-71 lead with just 17 seconds remaining when Desi Rodriguez was whistled for a Flagrant 1 foul following an official review of a play where Jaylen Barford tripped and fell to the floor.

Here’s the play – you be the judge.

Barford made the pair of free throws, and then Arkansas’ best free-throw shooter, Daryl Macon, split his two tries to make it a two-possession game and put the result on ice.

It wouldn’t be March Madness without a controversy or two.
