UNC Final Four Hero Luke Maye Gets Standing Ovation After Showing Up to 8 A.M. Class Morning After Hitting Game-Winner

By Jason Fletcher

On Sunday night, North Carolina Tar Heels forward Luke Maye hit the game-winner to send his team to a 75-73 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats and punch a ticket to the Final Four.

With the game taking place in Memphis, it would be understandable if Maye missed classes on Monday, or at the very least showed up late.

That wasn’t the case at all as Luke was present for his 8 a.m. class and received a standing ovation from his classmates.
