Botched Alley-Oop by TCU in NIT Championship Yields Ridiculous Follow-up Jam

By Anthony Blake

Most believe the NCAA Tournament to be the only true form of March Madness, but the NIT provided plenty of reasons to dispute that in their own upset-laden bracket.

And the championship between TCU and Georgia Tech wasn’t really a close game, but it did produce one of the most amazing botched alley-oops in the history of basketball.

After TCU’s Kenrich Williams got all iron on his alley-oop slam attempt, Vladimir Brodziansky cleaned things up with a terrific putback dunk that was just incredible to watch.

So while it may not be the main event in college basketball, this particular play made the NIT take center stage, if only for a brief moment.
