Fight on State is reporting that Penn State offensive lineman Johnnie Troutman was cited with a DUI Saturday. He will have a preliminary hearing in early March and should face other consequences.
Troutman started in 11 of 13 games this past season and was tagged as a key member for the 2011 offensive line next season. This will certainly send Troutman to the famous “Joe Pa Dog House”. Luckily for Troutman the incident didn’t occur during football season or his career may be over. He will have time to work everything out by the start of summer training, but that doesn’t mean that Joe Pa will let him play.
Penn State has had quite the quiet off season in regards to players in trouble. Here’s hoping it stay that way. Stay tuned for more information as things develop.
