The Big Ten released the 2013 and 2014 football schedules Wednesday, and the Badgers will play the same eight teams in both seasons.
In addition to home-and-home matchups with fellow Leaders division members Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue, the Badgers will play home-and-homes against Iowa, Minnesota and Northwestern. Their 2013 matchup with Iowa will be the first time Wisconsin will play the Hawkeyes since their epic 31-30 victory back in October.
In 2013, the Badgers will start the conference season at Ohio State. It will be the first time the two teams will meet in the Badgers’ conference opener since 1992, according to uwbadgers.com. Wisconsin closes the 2013 season at home against Penn State.
The 2014 schedule features two home rivalry games, as both Minnesota and Iowa will visit Camp Randall. The only away game against a traditional Big Ten powerhouse will come at Penn State in the Badgers’ final game.
