Former Badger running back Zach Brown told the Pitt coaching staff Sunday he intends to transfer there and will enroll
Brown told Bret Bielema and the rest of the Wisconsin coaching staff he planned to transfer from UW back in May. He will be allowed to play immediately because of a new NCAA rule that removes the normal one-year waiting period for transfers if they have already graduated.
Brown likely would have been the fourth string running back behind Montee Ball, James White and Jeffrey Lewies had he stayed at UW. Now, he joins sophomore Ray Graham as the only Panther running back with game experience.
