Former Iowa safety Brett Greenwood was taken to the hospital in critical condition after collapsing at an Iowa high school on Friday afternoon.  He has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Greenwood had been working out at Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf, Iowa before the collapse.  He was taken to Trinity Medical Center in Bettendorf, and has since been transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Brett was a two-time 2nd team All-Big Ten selection in his time at Iowa, and was just recently released by the Pittsburgh Steelers after signing with them as a free agent.
