NCAA BBall: Illinois 66 beats SIU-Edwardsville 46
Champaign, Illinois- Illinois moved to 2-0 after beating SIU- Edwardsville 66 to 46 this past Monday. SIU- Edwardsville is now 0-11 all-time against Big Ten opponents.
This was the first game in the Cancun Challenge.
Illinois continued to show it’s growth compared to last season by totaling 48 rebounds. Junior forward Tyler Griffey and sophomore center Meyers Leonard both set career highs in rebounds. Griffey had 14 rebounds, while Griffey had 11 of his own.
