NCAA BBall: Illinois 79 beats Lipscomb 64

Champaign, Illinois- Illinois stays undefeated, moving to 3-0 after defeating the Lipscomb Bisons this past Thursday, 79-64.

Game 2 of the Cancun Challenge is done with the Illinois receiving it’s second win. Illinois was ahead at halftime 33-26 and secured the lead after a 14-0 run in the second half. Meyers Leonard sat for the Illini after picking up 2 fouls within the first 2 minutes of the game. He returned in the second half to give the team that much needed boost.

Illinois’ largest lead of the game was 24. Lipscomb only lead by 2 points at any point in the game.
