Colorado State Football Commit Zack Golditch Injured in Aurora Shooting
Colorado State Rams 2013 football commit Zack Golditch was injured last evening in the horrific shooting which took place during a midnight screening of the Dark Knight Rises last evening in Aurora, Colorado.
Here is one mention in particular from last evening:
Golditch himself tweeted out the following this morning:
According to Internet mentions, one other Rams football player was also in the crowd, but was not injured.
Golditch is set to play his senior season at Gateway High School in Aurora, and is listed as a 6’5″, 260 pound offensive tackle by recruiting sites who also had offers on the table from Wyoming, Air Force, Colorado, and Northern Colorado.
The Aurora shooting tragedy is one of the most destructive and unimaginable in United States history, and the news of Golditch’s injury is another instance in which tragedy always seems to cross over to sports.
We at Rant Sports wish Mr. Golditch, his family, and all others affected by this situation a speedy recovery and a chance to move on without fear.
Sometimes, in our crazy world, that’s all one can ask for when not even watching a movie on a Thursday night is a safe activity and random crime can appear at a moment’s notice in the most unexpected places.
