Florida State Seminoles Become First 70 Point Favorites In History Against Savannah State
The Florida State Seminoles is one of the best teams in the country. Savannah State, on the other hand, is not. In fact, they just got blown out by Oklahoma State, in a game which Okie State covered a 67 point spread. Vegas likes FSU a little bit better so as of right now, FSU is the first 70 point favorite in gambling history (I think).
The tweet really does not go into overwhelming detail but this might be the biggest line in the history of anything. I have never heard of a team being favored by 70 points before. The fact that this game even has a line is simply absurd.
I would almost think that betting on the Florida State Seminoles is a very dangerous thing. Then again, Okie State did cover their massive spread fairly easily. If you want to be a part of Vegas history, I guess you could throw down some bucks on this game.
This once again shows how odd that the “pay for play” games are. Savannah State has no business being on the field against a team like FSU. However, they get paid quite well to come in and get trampled. The game doesn’t benefit either team in the long run. FSU doesn’t get a real test and the other team gets stomped on for a simple pay check.
Maybe games like this will start to go away if things like this keep happening. 70 point lines are just way too absurd.
