College Football: Against The Spread
Here we go with week four of the College Football: Against The Spread picks.
We’ve been on fiiiiiiiiiyah!!!!
As we have hit four straight 2* picks to start the season. We did however lose our two 1* picks last weekend as Auburn and Ohio State just couldn’t bring the cover home for us.
Today, we’re taking it over to Athens, GA, and the Georgia Bulldogs are going to get the call as our lone 2* play for the day.
2* Georgia -14 (Sportsbook)
The Bulldogs come into this weeks game versus Vandy after thumping Florida Atlantic 56-20. The Bulldogs set a school record for total offense with 713 yards. The Dawgs have won 16 of the last 17 versus the Commodores and lead the all time series 52-18-2. Georgia has outscored their opponents 142-63 through three games in 2012.
Vanderbilt comes into this battle after disposing of Presbyterian 58-0. Austyn Carta-Samuels led the Commodores as he made his first start since transferring from Wyoming. The ‘Dores put up 605 yards total offense with running back Zac Stacy accounting for 174 on the ground.
This game to me comes down to domination. Vanderbilt is going to play hard, but Georgia is by far the better team here. Georgia has the better offense and the better defense.
Junior quarterback Aaron Murray has a huge day and the Bulldogs use their stable of running backs to wear down Vanderbilt in the fourth quarter. Samuels and company have their work cut out for them, as they will try to move the football against one of the top defenses in the country.
This game stays close for the first half, before the ‘Dawgs pull away late. Take Georgia -14 and let’s keep this train rolling.
Georgia 38-Vanderbilt 17
