The Top 5 College Football Games in Week 10
Rematch of National Championship Game Highlights Saturday Action
The last weekend saw a number of great matchups in college football, but where last week had a great quantity of great games on paper, the quality of the product on the field did not live up to the billing. A couple of the top games turned out to be blowouts like previously unbeaten Mississippi State losing to Alabama 38-7 and Kansas State beating up on Texas Tech 55-24.
This week’s slate of games lacks the quantity of outstanding matchups compared to last week when four of the top five ranked teams were facing ranked opponents, but it does feature two heavyweight bouts that can shift the landscape of the sport.
We will see a rematch of the national championship game of a year ago when Alabama, owners of the nation’s longest winning streak, travels to LSU, the place where they suffered their last loss, and the team with the nation’s longest home winning streak.
The other main event Saturday is on the west coast with Oregon traveling to Los Angeles to take on a suddenly vulnerable USC team reeling after a three-point loss to Arizona.
Will USC be able to slow down the Oregon offense and keep their Pac 12 championship dreams alive or will the Ducks offense prove to be too strong?

5. Clemson at Duke
Yes, Duke football is actually worth watching this season. David Cutcliffe has the team bowl eligible and tied for the division lead in the ACC.
I'll be watching to see if Duke can regroup after being decimated last week by Florida State and if Clemson can score 38 or more points for the 8th straight game.
4. Oklahoma State at Kansas State
Kansas State moves up to #2 in the rankings after Florida lost last week and is facing their third straight ranked opponent when Oklahoma State comes to the little apple of Manhattan, Kansas Saturday night.
I'll be watching to see if Collin Klein can maintain his perch atop the Heisman standings and if the Wildcats can score 55 or more points for the fourth time in five weeks.
3. Texas A&M at Mississippi State
I'll be watching to see if Mississippi State can rebound following their first loss of the season and if Texas A&M quarterback, Johnny Manziel, can continue his dominance running Kevin Sumlin's offense or if the home crowd of Mississippi State can rattle the freshman qb.

2. Oregon at USC
I'm very curious to see how many points will be scored at the LA Coliseum Saturday night when these two prolific offenses meet. USC won this game last year 38-35, so Oregon will be coming in looking for some revenge and looking to show BCS voters they deserve to be ranked higher.
Read my preview of this game including my prediction on the outcome of this Pac 12 bash.
1. Alabama at LSU
Last time these two met was in the national championship last year that was won by Alabama. The last time they met in the regular season it was LSU that was victorious. This game may not exactly be the game of the century as last year's game was billed, but the winner could have an inside track to the BCS national championship game.
Read my preview for a recap of last year's games, Les Miles' success against Alabama, and my prediction for the game of the week.
