Notre Dame Defeats Pittsburgh Narrowly in 3OTs
Quarterback Everett Golson was amazing simply amazing in the fourth quarter when Notre Dame was down 20-6 and lead the team down for two touchdowns and got the game winning touchdown in the third overtime. The Fighting Irish caught a break in the second overtime when they fumbled the ball at the goal line and then Pittsburgh kicker Kevin Harper missed a what would be game winning field goal.
With all the amazing story this game told and it will tell one for years to come, but in the short-term it might hurt Notre Dame because Pittsburgh was in the nationally ranked in the top 25 and the game was in South Bend.
Then again I didn’t see them going the the BCS national title game even if they finish unbeaten if there two additional unbeaten teams due to the fact that they are independent and don’t have to win a conference title like in the SEC, or Pac-12 for example, but that’s just my take, what do you all think?
