Johnny Manziel Wins the 2012 Heisman Trophy
Johnny Manziel aka “Johnny Football” just won the Heisman Memorial Trophy! He had an amazing redshirt Freshman year to say the least…
Manziel had a excellent 68.3 completion percentage this year with 3,419 yards passing, 24 touchdown passes and eight interceptions, impressive numbers to say the least if he was a pocket passer, however that’s not all he did as he had 1,181 rushing yards with 19 touchdown runs with an impressive 6.4 yards per carry.
The most amazing thing is this guy could possibly have three more years of stellar play, destroying all sorts of records, but time will tell. This year isn’t over yet for Manziel, as he has to take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and if he were to beat the Sooners, it would only add on to his legacy that is in its infancy. The sky is the limit for this kid if he were to stay healthy for the next two or three years.
I wanted to be one of the first to congratulate Manziel in winning the Heisman, frankly you deserve it, but that’s just my take, what do you all think? Let me know!
