With the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish about to take over Miami for the BCS National Championship game, the city is preparing for the surge of people all trying to get to the Orange Bowl. Apparently they want the fans to do it in style because Miami-Dade County is issuing temporary limo permits to anyone who wants to cart people around.

You can actually just apply, no limo service experience needed. You just have to have a sweet ride, apparently. The temporary license will only be valid December 27 through January 10th. So if you are in the area and looking for a way to earn some extra cash, there you go. You may actually make enough money to pay off your game tickets.

This National Championship is already said to be one of the most pricey to attend. Though the price has dropped from just a few weeks ago, the lowest priced ticket on StubHub is going for $950 a pop. Unfortunately if you think that’s a deal, then I hope you are prepared to stand the entire time because that is for standing-room only tickets.

Endzone seats are going for around $1000, which if you are willing to pay $950 to stand, you might as well pay the extra fifty dollars to sit. Want a better seat? Open your wallet a lot further. Mid-field upper deck: $1650. Lower level is going for around $2500. You can really splurge and get a suite, which there are some still available with a price tag of $160,000.

It’s all about the money.
