Clemson Tigers Have Huge Recruiting Weekend Ahead of Them

The Clemson Tigers have a huge weekend coming up for its college football program. No, there is obviously not a game this weekend as the college football season is over, but recruiting is just heating up. Three top prospects in the 2013 class are going to be in town. Winter Park (Fla.) High School quarterback Asiantii Woulard is definitely the gem of the group. WR James Clark and Kyrin Priester will be joining him.

Woulard is a four-star QB, according to Rivals, and is one of the best uncommitted quarterbacks left int he class. He has taken visits to N.C. State and Kentucky, but Clemson has an opportunity to get a steal of a quarterback if they can secure a commitment this weekend.

Clark is a three-star wide receiver according to Rivals, but he has enough speed that the combination of Clark and Woulard could be a truly exciting offensive combination that the Tigers can use to continue their fast paced offense.

Prister is also a three-star recruit and is a versatile receiver who can line up in the sloslot or on the edge. He is also incredibly difficult to tackle in open space, which gives him many yards after the catch. His quarterbacks definitely love him for that as well. If he can run crisper routes at the college level, then he will be an instant impact on the Tigers’ offense.

The Tigers have had an interesting recruiting year full of de-commitments and all other sorts of twists and turns. Let’s see if they can’t start the year off with a bang.
