National Signing Day continues to go well for the Florida State Seminoles, who landed another top recruit in Keith Bryant. The news comes as a bit of a relief for the Seminoles, as Bryant had his choices down to Florida State and the Miami Hurricanes.

At 6’2″ and 306 lbs, Bryant was ranked 14th overall when it came to defensive tackles, and could make an immediate impact on a Seminoles’ defense coming off an impressive 2012 campaign. Not only is he a four-star defensive tackle, but Bryant has been praised for his explosion and use of hands throughout his high school career.

The addition of Bryant is another great move by the Seminoles; the defensive tackle gives them six in the ESPN 150. It should be interesting to see how well he fits in with Florida State’s defense next season. Florida State will be anxious for another big 2013 season after finishing 12-2 overall last year while coming out on top in the Discover Orange Bowl as well.

For a defense that ranked near the top of college football last season, the Seminoles should be right back up there once again this year and it should come as no surprise considering how well their recruiting has been as of late. Hopefully, the addition of Bryant along with the rest of Wednesday’s signings pays off for Florida State as they continue to re-stake their claim as one of the top teams in college football.
