Uh oh, rumors running rampant out of LSU are suggesting their beloved head coach Les Miles had some sort of affair with a coed at the college. This sounds exactly like what happened at Arkansas with their coach (who will remain nameless out of patheticness). Now, I don’t have any more information on this story as the next story so I’m just going to comment on the severity of the situation.
If this rumor is indeed true, Les Miles is going to be fighting for his job, and could be fired over it. If that happens, LSU will have a ton of problems when it comes to next years team as Miles is one of the best coaches in the country. For the players sake, I hope this is nothing more than a ridiculous rumor, but it’s too early to tell.
I certainly hope Les Miles is not partaking in this kind of activity as I have a deep amount of respect for what Miles has done for the LSU program. Yes, as a Notre Dame fan, I can acknowledge a good football coach when I see it. This would be absolutely devastating to his legacy and again- I certainly hope it’s not true.
To make matters worse, there’s also a rumor floating around Les Miles will be announcing his retirement on Monday from coaching. Now if that happens, it could be assumed it’s because of this situation but who really knows?
Look, I don’t know if Miles is telling the truth or not. I’m not going to judge the situation until more facts are known, but again- I hope this isn’t true.
