Name: C.J. Mosley

Position: Outside Linebacker

College: University of Alabama Crimson Tide

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 232 pounds

Year: Senior

C.J. Mosley is an intense tackling machine of a outside linebacker who tackles opponents with power and technique just like the picture above shows. As a Junior, he was a consensus All-American, All-SEC and a finalist for the Butkus award for the nations best linebacker. Last year, he led the Crimson Tide with 99 tackles, which was 43 more than the next member of the team, and also he had an interception return for a touchdown which tied him with the all-time team mark.

Mosley was one of most decorated linebackers in the State of Alabama’s history, as he set his high school’s record for most tackles with over 500 tackles in a career and had an incredible amount with 186 tackles in his Senior year alone.

As for the future, it looks extremely bright for Mosley as he is slated to be a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and will turn heads at the next level, not to mention running backs will dread running into his arms, as they will quickly learn that they won’t gain more yards. While Mosley will not hit the top 10, whichever team drafts him will get an instant upgrade to the defense and their linebacking corps will become one of the best in the league (if it isn’t already).

All in all, it’s going to be another amazing year for the Crimson Tide and a third-straight BCS National Championship would not be out of the realm of impossibility and Mosley will be one of the main reasons why.
