The Washington Huskies are coming off two straight tough losses against the two best teams in the Pac-12. The Huskies are one of the best teams in the nation despite their record and could still have a long-shot chance at winning the Pac-12 title. However, the Huskies are looking to take it one week at a time.

On the other side of the field, the Arizona State Sun Devils deserve some attention in the Pac-12 as well. Sitting at 4-2, the Sun Devils have just one conference loss and that came at the hands of the Stanford Cardinal. Arizona State could be a dark-horse favorite to win the conference title — or at least seriously contend for it.

Washington has a deadly quarterback-running back combination that could be one of the best in the nation. Senior quarterback Keith Price has struggled in recent weeks but has completed 69.3 percent of his passes on the season for 1,576 yards and 12 touchdowns. While Price has struggled just a bit, running back Bishop Sankey has been an All-American type of talent this season. Sankey has rushed the ball 159 times for 899 yards and nine touchdowns — quickly becoming a sensation at running back and a possible Heisman contender.

As Washington has one of the best quarterbacks in the conference, so does Arizona State. The Sun Devils have Taylor Kelly who has 1,965 yards and 16 touchdowns this season for the ninth-ranked passing offense in the nation. Sophomore wide out Jalen Strong has been phenomenal this season as Kelly’s favorite target. He has 42 catches on the season for 678 yards and four touchdowns. The Sun Devils’ passing attack makes up for the mediocre run game.

Defensively, the Huskies are still one of the best units in the nation even after playing two of the best offenses in the conference. They allow just 19.8 points per game to go along with 344.2 yards per game. The Sun Devils’ defense is not as impressive, allowing 27.2 points per game along with 372 yards per game.

Washington will travel to Arizona State to take on the Sun Devils at 6 p.m. EST on Saturday, Oct. 19. The game will be broadcasted on the Pac-12 Network.

PREDICTION: Washington 31, Arizona State 27
