Oregon Ducks Unsurprisingly Pass Florida State Seminoles In Latest BCS Rankings

The Oregon Ducks have unsurprising passed the Florida State Seminoles in the latest BCS rankings, and it should not come as a surprise to anyone who is familiar with all this madness.

Everybody knows the ACC is kind of a wimpy conference when it comes to college football, and you can bet that if both teams win out that the Ducks will come out on top.

To tell the truth, the BCS is what makes me not like college football and is one of the main reasons I do not write on it often. If we saw a legitimate college football tournament, then it could be truly exciting. The way it is currently constructed however, does not make for incredible entertainment at least in the post season.

The Ducks lost their head coach, but they appear to be moving on full speed ahead regardless. The association with Nike cannot possibly hurt either, and it has certainly given their program a boost in the last few years. Their uniforms at least look damn good, do they not?

The Seminoles, on the other hand, have a history of success but it would certainly be unexpected if they had a Heisman trophy winner come out of the school.

The BCS is a science that I’ll admit alludes me at times, and here is hoping that a new solution is implemented as soon as possible. College football has too rich of a history to be tainted by this horrible computer system in this humble scribe’s opinion.
