Baylor Bears Buttkicking of Kansas Jayhawks Lands Them At Number Six in BCS Rankings
When the Baylor Bears routed the Kansas Jayhawks last week you knew it was going to bump them up in the rankings and they have landed at number six.
Bryce Petty threw for 430 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another one in a truly impressive performance that could have the Bears contending for a national championship if things shake out in the right way.
“It took us a while to get out there, but once we did, we settled down and played our game, and that’s what’s important,” Petty said to the Associated Press. “When we hone in on what we do, there’s not a team in the country that can stop us, and I’m very confident of that.”
Petty will have to keep it up for that to happen though and they kick off another game on Thursday so be sure to tune in for that one.
The Bears will most likely have to win out for luck to have a chance going their way so any slip ups at this point of the year would not be ideal, but we will just have to wait and see what happens on Thursday night.
For any college basketball fans out there be sure to keep an eye out for my coverage of the Champion’s Classic on November 12th, because should be getting some exclusive videos and photos. Thanks for reading folks, be happy and love each other just like the ones above would want you to.
