Pac-12 Previews and Predictions: Week 12

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

The Pac-12 is considered one of the top conferences in college football this season. While there are just four teams ranked in the Top 25, the conference is pretty solid at the top and could challenge any conference's top teams. The Oregon Ducks and Stanford Cardinal have proved to be the top two teams in the conference and it's too bad there can't be a conference title game between the two of them and a rematch of week 11's game.

Like I said earlier, the Ducks and Cardinal played in week 11 in what was considered the Pac-12 game of the year -- by far. The Ducks came in over-confident and the Cardinal took advantage of that, shutting them down for the second straight season and proving that there are other teams in the Pac-12 that are worthy of playing for a national title. While the game was ugly early, the Ducks made it close late before losing by six, getting held to 20 points and dashing their national title hopes -- as well as conference title hopes.

It looks like those two teams aren't the only ones hungry for a conference title as the UCLA Bruins and Arizona State Sun Devils are both looking to be the team to beat the Goliaths of the North division in the title game. The Bruins have been solid because of the play from quarterback Brett Hundley while the Sun Devils have had the same luck because of their own talented quarterback, Taylor Kelly.

The Pac-12 title is up for grabs and the teams ranked in the Top 25 seem like the viable options to win the conference while the rest of the teams are looking to ruin someone's season.

Take a look at the Pac-12 previews and predictions for each week 12 game.

Washington at No. 13 UCLA

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

If this game were played at Washington, I would give the edge to the Huskies, but at UCLA, this one is all Bruins. Bishop Sankey and Keith Price will have solid games, but Brett Hundley will get the last laugh.

PREDICTION: Washington 30, UCLA 38

Washington State at Arizona

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Washington State just doesn't have the same type of firepower that Arizona possesses on offense. The Wildcats' run game behind Ka'Deem Carey will be hard to stop for a porous Washington State defense.

PREDICTION: Washington State 17, Arizona 31

Utah at No. 6 Oregon

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Utah will not be able to upset the angry Oregon Ducks in this one like it upset the Stanford Cardinal early in the Pac-12 season. Oregon is still upset about last week's national title hope-ending loss -- so upset that the Ducks will take it to Utah, and hard.

PREDICTION: Utah 14, Oregon 49

California at Colorado

Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

This is the battle for last place in the conference. Both teams have a combined 0-13 record in conference play and 4-15 record overall. However, home-field advantage -- if you can call it that -- will be the deciding factor.

PREDICTION: California 24, Colorado 31

No. 4 Stanford at USC

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Stanford is coming off its biggest win of the season, but the upset-minded USC Trojans will have their sights set on taking down the best team in the Pac-12. Kevin Hogan will struggle against the tough USC defense, but Tyler Gaffney will get it done on the ground.

PREDICTION: Stanford 30, USC 24

Oregon State at No. 19 Arizona State

Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

Oregon State might have the best quarterback in college football right now, but Sean Mannion hasn't even been able to slow his team from reeling. The Beavers are struggling right now and this isn't a good road game to stop the bleeding. Look for Taylor Kelly to pass for over 300 with three touchdowns in this one.

PREDICTION: Oregon State 27, Arizona State 37
