Pac-12 Week 13 Previews and Predictions

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Week 12 of the college football season is over and it looks like the season is just flying by our eyes. It seems like just yesterday that these teams were taking the field for the first time and people were predicting who the conference favorites were.

Twelve weeks later, the Pac-12 is looking like one of the best conferences in the nation as the Top 25 is ridden with four teams from the conference. The teams from one through five have been solid and even more teams have been in the rankings but have dropped out since.

The Oregon Ducks led the conference for the better part of the season before being ousted by the Stanford Cardinal just two short weeks ago. It looked like Oregon was going to run the table, but it was upset on the road to a tough Stanford team, seemingly dashing the BCS title hopes for the Ducks. However, now that Stanford and a couple other top teams have dropped, the Ducks are making a late run back into BCS title talks as the No. 5 team in the latest rankings with two games remaining on their schedule.

After a big win over Oregon, Stanford had quite the letdown against the USC Trojans on the road in a rivalry game. Nobody saw the Trojans pulling off the big upset just one week after taking down the top team in the conference. Since firing Lane Kiffin, the Trojans are 5-1 and look like a completely different team.

This week, there are some top games in which ranked teams could face big upsets -- even two top teams facing off against each other. Week 13 of the college football season must mean that there will be better Pac-12 play than we have seen in recent memory.

Take a look at the week 13 Pac-12 previews and predictions for each game.

Utah has been on the right side of some upsets this season and although this isn't a huge upset game, the Utes have a chance to steal one on the road against a recently-struggling Cougars.

No. 5 Oregon at Arizona

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Oregon will travel to Arizona to take on one of the best rushing offenses in the nation. However, Arizona will be no different than the other teams in the Ducks path, blowing out Arizona shouldn't be an issue.

PREDICTION: Oregon 48, Arizona 24

Stanford will come back big time with a huge win over Cal just one week after being upset by USC. This one will get pretty ugly.

Arizona State has to rely on Taylor Kelly in this one while UCLA will rely on Brett Hundley. Advantage: UCLA. Having a Heisman candidate on your side is never a bad thing.

Washington at Oregon State

Washington will be traveling to Oregon State to take on the potent Beavers offense. I think Washington has enough pieces and Oregon State has yet to step up to the plate this season. Keith Price and Bishop Sankey will have big games.

PREDICTION: Washington 34, Oregon State 30
