Jameis Winston Case Could Get Ugly For All Involved
Jameis Winston has been the most polarizing player in college football this season. His play on the field has caught the attention of nearly every fan across the country. Unfortunately, his great year has now been called into question because of an alleged off-the-field incident. A Florida woman has accused Winston of raping her last December and now we have some insight as to what’s possibly been going on in her life ever since.
Here’s a part of the statement from the alleged victim’s family, which details what an attorney acting on behalf of the family was told by police:
“When the attorney contacted Detective Angulo immediately after Winston was identified, Detective Angulo told the attorney that Tallahassee was a big football town and the victim needs to think long and hard before proceeding against him because she will be raked over the coals and her life will be made miserable.”
The statement also says that the woman did not want this case to become public and now because it has, her life has been ‘turned upside down once again’.
So given these latest developments, it seems pretty apparent that this story/case is long from being resolved. Winston is continuing to play for Florida State during the investigation, which is expected to be finished within a few weeks. But if charges are formally filed against the QB, this whole thing is going to get extremely ugly. Hopefully, one way or another, the truth will come out.
