Jim Thorpe Award Finalist: Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State

Dennard is one of the leaders of the nation's best defense and a great cover corner. His four interceptions may seem low, but that's because balls are rarely thrown his way due to his cover skills. This is why Dennard is one of the finalists for the Jim Thorpe Award.

Chuck Bednarik Award Snub: Ryan Shazier, LB, Ohio State

The Buckeyes' linebacker has forced four fumbles in addition to making 108 tackles, 77 of them solo and 21 of them for a loss. All those statistics put him among the national leaders in those categories. Despite these facts, Shazier is not a finalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award.

Biletnikoff Award Snub: Allen Robinson, WR, Penn State

Allen Robinson is currently among the national leaders in nearly every relevant statistical category for his position. He is third in the nation in receiving yards and eighth in receptions per game playing for an offense that is 44th in FBS in passing yards per game. Yet somehow, Robinson wasn't named as a Biletnikoff Award finalist.

Outland Trophy Snub: Andrew Norwell, G, Ohio State

Andrew Norwell is an important part of the best offensive line in the Big Ten. With Norwell anchoring the left guard spot, the Buckeyes have the fifth best running game in the nation and are among the national leaders in fewest sacks allowed. Despite his outstanding consistency, Norwell is not a finalist for the Outland Trophy.
