The Nebraska Cornhuskers need a quality quarterback coach. Under Tom Osborne the Huskers had Turner Gill on staff to coach their quarterbacks. Since then offensive coordinators have served both as play-caller and quarterbacks coach. The Huskers need a coach to focus solely on the development of the quarterbacks at Nebraska. Whether that is graduate assistant and former Husker Joe Ganz or not, the Huskers need to designate one man to do the job.

The Huskers suffered their losses due to injury in 2013 and would love a Christmas blessing for 2014 to be a year where their offensive line stays intact. The devastating injuries were hard to swallow for Huskers fans with the worst being to All-American Spencer Long, a Nebraska native who will never again play for the Huskers.

The Huskers need to get a win in 2014 against a quality opponent outside of the Big Ten. They need to defeat a highly ranked opponent with in the Big Ten as well. If the Huskers had defeated the UCLA Bruins this season it would have meant a lot for the program. Husker fans will be asking for a victory against a BCS rated opponent in 2014.
