Rant Sports Official Top 25 Rankings: Week 15
Week 14 of the college football season has concluded and there are just a handful of games left on the season to go along with conference title games all around. The college football season ended in a way for most teams that only this season would end. It has been a crazy year for football and upsets and although the Alabama Crimson Tide looked like a lock to head to the national title game, their dreams were dashed by the Auburn Tigers in one of the most exciting finishes ever.
In case you missed it, people are calling the Auburn-Alabama Iron Bowl this season one of the best games and finishes in the history of the sport. Alabama attempted a 57-yard field goal with no time left to break the tie and win the game, but Auburn had a guy back to return the miss and he returned it 109 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
Now that No. 1 has finally fallen in the final week of the regular season for the SEC, the conference title game will feature two teams that combined for two conference wins a season ago in the Missouri Tigers and Auburn -- what a difference a year makes.
There was another matchup of fierce rivals in the Michigan Wolverines and No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes in Ann Arbor. The two teams have been hated rivals since anyone can remember and it showed on the field with a scuffle that led to punches thrown and an Ohio State player flipping the bird at Michigan fans on his way off the field. The game ended with a failed two-point conversion attempt to win the game by Michigan and Ohio State might now be the No. 2 team in the country.
Take a look at the week 15 Rant Sports official college football rankings as voted by our group of experts.
25. Miami Hurricanes (9-3)
After losing three straight and dropping out of the Top 25, the Hurricanes look like a new team, winning two in a row. Stephen Morris has been playing well lately.

24. Cincinnati Bearcats (9-2)
Cincinnati has won six straight games since beginning the season 3-2 and they look like a possible upset-threat to the Louisville Cardinals in week 15.

Last week: 14

Last week: NR
21. Wisconsin Badgers (9-3)
Wisconsin lost at home the Penn State Nittany Lions and no one saw it coming. They were on track to be the No. 2 team in the Big Ten for a BCS bowl if Michigan State lost the conference title game -- not anymore.
Last week: 16
20. Duke Blue Devils (10-2)
Duke controlled their own destiny in the conference title race and they did just that. Winning their way to the title game seems like just the beginning for this emerging program.
Last week: 24
19. Louisville Cardinals (10-1)
Louisville got the week off to prepare for Cincinnati in week 15. The winner of that game could contend for a possible BCS bowl berth.
Last week: 17

Nearly losing the South Florida in week 14 might have hurt their hopes for the BCS race, but they are still in it.
Last week: 19
17. UCLA Bruins (9-3)
The Bruins put the hurt on the surging USC Trojans in week 14 and it looks like they will be one of the favorites to win the Pac-12 next season after Arizona State took UCLA's division by two games.
Last week: 22
16. Oklahoma Sooners (9-2)
A week off to prepare for the hated in-state rival Oklahoma State might be good for the Sooners -- but the Cowboys had the week off as well.
Last week: 20
15. Northern Illinois Huskies (12-0)
Jordan Lynch is the kind of player who can lead a team all by himself and he might be the reason that the Huskies are 12-0 and looking at another BCS bowl berth.
Last week: 18
14. LSU Tigers (9-3)
It took a late touchdown to put them over the top, but the LSU Tigers squeaked by the Arkansas Razorbacks in the final game of the regular season. It's too bad the SEC is loaded this season -- the Tigers won't be playing in a BCS bowl.
Last week: 13
13. Oregon Ducks (10-2)
Oregon still has a little bit of fight left in it after a tough win over in-state rival Oregon State. The game went down to the wire, but the Ducks are far too talented to lose two consecutive games against unranked opponents.
Last week: 12
12. Clemson Tigers (10-2)
Clemson might still be heading to a BCS bowl game, but a loss in the final week of the season to an SEC opponent may have hurt their chances of playing against a top BCS foe.
Last week: 5
11. Arizona State Sun Devils (10-2)
Arizona State keeps on winning and a conference title is in its sights. If they can win the Pac-12, they will head to their first Rose Bowl since 1997.
Last week: 15

Last week: 8
9. Michigan State Spartans (11-1)
Michigan State's offense struggled in the final regular season game of the year, but the defense showed up once again, holding Minnesota to just three points and under 250 yards. The Spartans are the first team in Big Ten history to go 8-0 in conference play and win all games by double digits.
Last week: 11
8. Stanford Cardinal (10-2)
Stanford won a close one to rival Notre Dame and it looks like the Cardinal will be fighting for a conference title and Rose Bowl berth next week.
Last week: 10
7. South Carolina Gamecocks (10-2)
South Carolina was hoping for a Missouri loss in week 14 in order to make the SEC title game, but that didn't happen. The Gamecocks took out their frustration of missing out on the Clemson Tigers.
Last week: 9
6. Oklahoma State Cowboys (10-1)
Oklahoma State blew out the Baylor Bears a week ago and a bye week will do them some good with in-state rival Oklahoma coming up. The Cowboys will win the conference title with a win this week.
Last week: 7
5. Alabama Crimson Tide (11-1)
