After one of the craziest weekends in college football last weekend, this weekend will put most of the puzzle pieces into place as the conference championship games will take place. A lot of BCS possibilities rely on the results of the championship games of the four major conferences — the SEC, Big Ten, Pac-12 and ACC. While each of these games have major significance on the BCS bowls, the excitement and price vary greatly for each individual game.

The SEC Championship Game in Atlanta between No. 3 Auburn (11-1) and No. 5 Missouri (11-1) is by far the most expensive. SEC Champion Game tickets have an average price of $405.20 on the secondary market and a get-in price of $223. Both of these teams are likely to get into a BCS bowl, but with a loss from Ohio State or Florida State in their championship games, the winner of this game could be the next in line for a berth to the BCS National Championship Game.

No. 2 Ohio State (12-0) is hoping that won’t be the case as they take on No. 10 Michigan State (11-1) at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship. Tickets for that contest have an average price of $233.77 and a starting price of $129. The Buckeyes can secure a spot in the National Championship Game with a win, while Michigan State could be heading to the Rose Bowl, win or lose.

If Michigan State makes it to the Rose Bowl, the Spartans will be playing the winner of the Pac-12 Championship Game. That game, at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz., pits No. 7 Stanford (10-2) against No. 11 Arizona State (10-2). The Sun Devils won the opportunity to host the game with a better conference record than the Cardinal, as the Pac-12 is the only major conference without a neutral site championship game. Pac-12 Championship Game tickets have an average price of $119, with a get-in price of $63.

The cheapest game of the four is the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte, N.C. The No. 1-ranked Florida State Seminoles (12-0) will take on No. 20 Duke (10-2). The Blue Devils have only been to two bowl games since 1994, so a championship game appearance is very rare. ACC Championship tickets have an average ticket price of $77.13 and a starting price of just $15. With a victory, the Seminoles will no doubt be one of the two teams participating in the BCS National Championship Game in January.

Even as the ticket prices vary for these games, the quality shouldn’t. Each championship game features two ranked teams, which is not always the case. It might not be as eventful as last weekend’s slate of games, but the games during Championship Weekend should be worth the admission price.
