Shirtless Florida State Fans Celebrate Jameis Winston’s No Charge Decision
As we all know by know, State Attorney Willie Meggs has made the decision to not charge Jameis Winston for sexual assault after he said that the victim’s story was not consistent and there was not enough evidence. You can probably imagine that Florida State Seminoles fans were pretty happy about this ruling because their season is back on track with a clean slate.
In fact, some Florida State students took their fandom to an entirely new level with their awesome support for the kid who has become a hero in Tallahassee. Take a look at these students who took to the courthouse to show their support — after the decision was made to clear him, of course.
These fans are obviously exuberant over the decision to avoid the charge of Winston. Don’t worry, though. They weren’t going to disrespect the apparent victim if he was charged:
This is some pretty awesome support for a guy who had been facing adversity and his image had taken a hit during this whole investigation. With over 3,500 yards and 35 touchdowns, Winston will likely be the front-runner for the Heisman and a national title isn’t too far away, either.
As for the criticism these fans are getting, they were celebrating their favorite player’s innocence. If that’s a crime, then half the country would be in jail.
A lot of schools would be jealous to see the kind of support Florida State has for its football program and, apparently, it starts with crazy students like this.
Well done, Florida State fans and Blake Davis. Well done.
