4. The Rest of the ACC
Jeremy Brevard - USATODAY Sports
At the moment, there are few teams in the ACC that can even come close to matching up with the high level of talent at Florida State. Clemson was the closest this season, but they have to replace the incredible offensive trio of Tajh Boyd, Sammy Watkins and Martavis Bryant, which will be difficult to do no matter how well the Tigers have recruited. Miami has shown signs of reclaiming their glory days of the past, but they’re not there yet and remain far behind their in-state rivals. Most of the other programs in the ACC are average at best, which is why the Seminoles were so dominant in 2013. Unless programs like Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Boston College or N.C. State can improve considerably and create more competition for Florida State, the Seminoles will continue to breeze through their conference schedule on a yearly basis.
