When it comes to intense football coaches, it’s safe to say no individual is more intense than Alabama head coach Nick Saban as the man smiles as much as Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots (not often). So when a video surfaces from over the weekend in which Saban appears to be having fun while participating in the “Electric Slide”–it’s kind of a big deal.

It’s not even February, but Saban is already keeping himself busy during the college football offseason when it comes to recruiting and the head coach apparently had some fun this weekend during one of his meetings with recruits in which he participated in the popular dance of the “Electric Slide.” Normally, videos like this wouldn’t be considered a big deal for most head coaches, but this is Nick Saban we’re talking about–one of the most serious individuals on the face of this earth.

To see Saban participate in a dance like this has to be one of the funniest things from the college football world off the field and shows how committed he is to landing some of his recruits. It should also be noted that recently hired offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin had some fun himself by singing “Sweet Home Alabama” during karaoke–which is nothing short of awesome.

After everything we’ve seen from Saban on the field–who would have thought the head coach has a soft dancing side like this off the field?
