Barry Switzer is known as one of the most successful football coaches of all time. In fact, he is a rare breed of coaches, winning both an college football national title as well as a Super Bowl victory. He may be a wise football mind, but he is not shy to speak his mind whenever possible.

For example, he was asked about what he thought of Texas A&M Aggies‘ superstar QB and future NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel and he was not too pleased about his “antics”.

Basically, the former Oklahoma Sooners‘ and Dallas Cowboys‘ head coach is saying what we are all thinking. Manziel comes off as very arrogant on the field — and, heck, even off the field, too. However, Switzer is still a fan of the talented quarterback, going on to give his extremely mixed reviews at the other end of the spectrum.

Well, that seems like some high praise, right? Check out what else he said about Manziel:

He went on to say that the St. Louis Rams need to draft him if he’s still there at No. 2 in the draft.

Sure, Switzer seemed like a harsh critic at first, but he had some kind words for the most talked about quarterback in recent memory.
