Every conference features at least one team carrying a fanbase that is very easily recognized. You don't need to be told twice who THAT guy cheers for (or against) every Saturday afternoon. In the Big 10, that team is Ohio State.
Here are five ways to detect your typical Buckeyes fan.
O-H! I-O! I wish I had a dollar for every time I've seen a four-man crew throw up their arms. Don't you?
I won't give you an entire history lesson, but the famous "Script Ohio" was started by the Michigan band in 1932 in Columbus. Know the roots of your traditions.
Is this more prevalent for any other fanbase? The mask is a clear giveaway. Every Ohio State fan has a wicked mask.
Along the same lines as the mask, Ohio State fans curiously do not show skin. I don't know if it's a silent pact or self-esteem issue. Whatever the reason, you won't see skin.
If there is one thing every Ohio State fan has in common, it's Michigan. Buckeyes fans can't get the word "Michigan" out of their mouths, and it actually becomes comical at times.
