Michigan State probably has the most anticipated 2014 season of any Big 10 team, all because of an unforeseen blossoming last season that led to a conference championship and Rose Bowl win. So let's look ahead to the 5 must-watch games on the Spartans' schedule this season.
If Indiana can run its offense to the usual standard, it will come down to Michigan State's ability to get in and win a shootout, something we didn't even have the chance to see last season.
This will only be the second game of the season for the Spartans, so I wouldn't be overly concerned with a bad performance. However, this is bound to be an exciting one with Oregon's offense clashing against Michigan State's defense.
Projecting Michigan's 2014 season is a matter of throwing darts in a blacked out room. The Wolverines are thirsty for a win against in-state rival Michigan State.
This is Michigan State's last game of the regular season, and when we finally do get to this point, I'm not sure we'll be able to request a better ending. It's very possible both teams will be alive in the East Division race on the final weekend.
There's a lot to look forward to here. You have a rematch of last year's Big 10 Championship game, a battle of extreme strengths and a possible chance to get ahead in the East Division.
