Nebraska joined seven other schools in playing their spring games yesterday as 61,772 flooded into Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE to watch the Red-White game. Here are five lessons learned about the Cornhuskers from the contest.

We all know about Ameer Abdullah, but fellow I-backs Imani Cross, Terrell Newby and Adam Taylor all put on quite the show on Saturday. Cross especially impressed with 100 yards on only six carries.

Mauro Bondi missed an extra point and an 18-yard field goal attempt, and Spencer Lindsay had an extra point blocked. Bo Pelini said incoming freshman Drew Brown will likely be getting a long look as the team's place kicker.
