The Tennessee Volunteers and head coach Butch Jones announced that Adam “Pacman” Jones will speak to the team this summer. Adam will give the team a speech on character, something that is questionable considering the NFL player’s history. The Cincinnati Bengal has continuously had run-ins with the law.

This isn’t the first time that coach Jones has approached Adam Jones with the opportunity to speak to one of his teams. The troubled player gave coach Jones’ team a speech when the coach was the head man for the Cincinnati Bearcats. I guess it makes sense, considering Adam Jones can definitely tell the players what not to do.

If I was a coach, Adam Jones would be one of my last options. He’s had issues on and off the field during his entire career. Recently, he was cited for disorderly conduct after getting into a argument with police officers when his friend was pulled over while driving. This was just one of the many mistakes the player has made in his career.

It’s very common for coaches to bring in players who have come from success stories. The only problem with Adam Jones is the fact that he really hasn’t been that successful at resurrecting his career. In my opinion, the only reason he is still playing in the NFL is because he has incredible athletic ability that you just don’t find every day.

Coach Jones definitely has an interesting way of teaching his players how to be great men in society. I’m sure the players will learn a lot from Adam Jones, but I’m not so sure this is a good idea. Maybe he can teach the guys how to waste their money on strippers.
