One of the biggest football powerhouses in the country, the Alabama Crimson Tide have made it a habit of sending several legitimate prospects to the NFL on an annual basis. This year shouldn’t be any different, as their star-studded roster will again help them contend for the SEC crown and National Championship honors.

With that in mind, here’s a look at Alabama’s five best 2015 NFL Draft prospects.

5. QB Jacob Coker

According to Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher, Coker could be the top quarterback prospect of the Nick Saban era. While he wasn’t exactly impressive in a few garbage time appearances last season, the FSU transfer clearly has some intriguing physical and mental tools. If Saban can work his magic with Coker the way he did with A.J. McCarron and Greg McElroy, he’ll be a legitimate NFL prospect.

4. WR Christion Jones

Jones might not be the Crimson Tide’s top receiver, but he’s certainly one of their most electrifying weapons. Whether it’s turning a screen into a huge gain or taking a punt to the house, the quick, compact receiver knows how to make plays in the open field. If there’s a team looking for a slot receiver with added special teams value, they need look no further than Jones.

3. RB T.J. Yeldon

Considered one of the best running backs eligible for the 2015 NFL Draft, Yeldon has been a reliable weapon for the Alabama offense. He’s a well-rounded runner with impressive speed, surprising power and sensational stop-start abilities. As long as he can improve on his ball security in 2014, Yeldon is set to emerge as a potential first-round talent and NFL-ready ball-carrier.

2. WR Amari Cooper

Seen by many as a prototypical No. 1 receiver by NFL standards, Cooper could be headed for a huge 2014 season. Possessing blazing speed, outstanding size, impressive route-running abilities and reliable hands, the Crimson Tide’s top pass-catcher has all of the tools to be a star. However, he’ll need to prove he can stay healthy if he’s going to secure his stop as a Top 15 selection next year.

Easily one of the nation’s best defensive players, Collins is the prototypical safety who flies around the field making big plays. Whether it’s stepping up and being an enforcer against the run or breaking on the ball and delivering big hits against the pass, the former five-star recruit continues to live up to the hype. If all goes as planned in 2014, he’ll solidify his standing as a Top 10 pick.
