The Seminoles are looking to repeat as National Champions in 2014, and that task will be much easier if these five players step up and have breakout seasons like they are capable of.

With the departure of Kelvin Benjamin and Kenny Shaw, there is an opportunity for one of the remaining receivers to become the next favorite WR for quarterback Jameis Winston, and Christian Green could be one. While he has yet to live up to the expectations, Green could end his Seminole career with a bang if he has the good year he is capable of.

After missing most of 2013 with a neck injury, Tyler Hunter Jr. is back healthy and ready to take over the safety spot vacated by Lamarcus Joyner. In 2012, he started 14 games and was tied for team lead in interceptions, so the ability is there. He should see a jump in his stats due to teams not being able to avoid him because of his talented teammates.

While the DC native started 13 games last season, Eddie Goldman only made 19 tackles. With his fellow DT Timmy Jernigan off to the NFL, the team will need for him to produce more, and the talented junior will answer the call. He possesses the right blend of size and strength that should make him a force in the middle this season.

Even after making honorable mention All-ACC in 2013, PJ Williams gave Seminoles fans a glimpse of how truly good he can be against Auburn in the National Championship game. With the front seven being as good as it is, FSU should expect the output in that game to be more of the norm instead of the exception.

Even with a crowded backfield that included Devonta Freeman and James Wilder Jr., Karlos Williams, a former safety, was very productive. FSU fans can't help but get excited thinking about the stats the senior will put up now that he is the starting running back. It would not be a reach to see him reach the 1,000+ yard plateau.
