TCU suffered through one of their worst seasons in the past decade, going 4-8 with just two Big 12 wins. Last season, the Horned Frogs were dominated by the Longhorns 30-7 in their own stadium. With former Texas A&M quarterback Matt Joeckel now projected to be the starter, the Horned Frogs will be more explosive this year and will be ready when they face the Longhorns in late November.

That loss set up the Horned Frogs' disastrous 2012 season as they lost five of their last seven games. TCU will continue to be a tough team even without suspended defensive end Devonte Fields. The Sooners stunned their in-state rivals last season, eliminating the Cowboys from a BCS Bowl and vaulting Oklahoma into the Sugar Bowl. This season, the Cowboys will travel to Norman and try to spoil the Sooners in each team's regular season finale.
