Florida State Football: The Rich Get Richer With RB Johnny Frasier

The Florida State Seminoles have been on a bit of a roll lately with recruiting. A few weeks ago they landed two four-star QBs , then they followed that up with a four-star wide receiver and now they haul in one of the top running backs in the country with four-star Johnny Frasier.

He chose Florida State over Alabama, Georgia, Duke, LSUNotre Dame, Ohio State and plenty of others.

The commit comes a little out of the blue as most believed five-star RB Jacques Patrick would be the first to commit to the Seminoles at that position. Parker is almost a lock to dawn the Garnet & Gold, but Frasier beat him to the punch. It was a place that felt like home and he wanted to commit before his senior season began.

He is strong, physical and has lightning speed. At 5-foot-11, 206-pounds he can run a 4.4 forty consistently and still run over anyone in his way. Last season he was sensational with over 3,500 total yards and 50 total touchdowns.

Head coach Jimbo Fisher is stockpiling at running back. He already has Mario Pender, Ryan Green and Dalvin Cook coming back for the 2015 season. Now with Frasier on board and Patrick not too far behind him, they will have quite the competition in the backfield next season.

The Seminole nation couldn’t be happier with Frasier committing, as they add another special talent for their  already star-studded 2015 recruiting class.
